Hi all,

I felt like writing a small update of how life is going at the moment since I'm almost never online on DeviantArt anymore.

On June 2018 I graduated from my study in Rotterdam, Game Artist/ Graphic Designer. I've never been more happy with what I have achieved that year.
But I recently came to the conclusion that getting a job in what I studied is extremely difficult. Especially when you don't have enough experience and not the right portfolio for it. So I decided to leave it like that, get a normal job and hopefully work on my portfolio, while I earn some money. 

But soon after I realised something and I did some rethinking of the past school year and my internships...

I know I would become really unhappy if I had to do design for a living. 

Why? Because it is my hobby, something I have a passion about, and I know would become a burden to do something I love as a job and have to make money off it. It would probably bore me and I would lose motivation and inspiration for it. 

So 4 months ago I started my first fulltime job and everything is going great. My managers and colleagues are pleased with me and would like to see me grow further in the company.

I am trying to get more on track with creating art, but I cannot promise anything.
